Play the gingerbread man game below to practice accurate counting as a warm up for today`s activity.

Use the checklist and the I spy sheet below to continue accurate counting practice today. You may wish to use a highlighter to cross off objects as you go so that it is easier to count them. 

 

When your child is writing the numerals in the checklist boxes please encourage them to write their numerals correctly and check they are all round the right way. If they have done any reversals (which is very common at this age) encourage them to identify which ones they have reversed as this will help them to know for next time.
