Today we are going to learn how to write the letter a. Watch this video to find out how the letter is formed:
Now have a go at drawing a big a on a piece of cardboard or paper. You could always ask your grown-up to draw this for you. Now using lots of different colours, go over the top of this letter. Going over and over the letter a will help you remember how to form it. Once you've had lots of practice, try writing some smaller letters around the outside. The photos below will give you the idea:
