Reading

This week please could you read, if possible, at least 15 minutes a day.

I will also be attempting to upload reading of Tom’s midnight garden so we are able to carry on with our class story.

 Writing

This week we will be writing a story based on Tom’s midnight garden.

Please could you write a story across this week with the following structure:

Beginning – you wake up at home in the middle of night and go downstairs.

Middle - you open the door and find yourself in Faversham, in the past.

End – do you get back to your own time, and how?

Please could you try to include speech marks, main and subordinate clauses?

There are links below to some videos and website to help remind you how to use speech marks and main and subordinate clauses. There are also links below to the Fleur De Lis website and Faversham.org, which has lots of information under the history tab that you can use to help with your story.
