Art

This is the last lesson of our Plant Art topic. You have all responded really well to this term's learning and seem to have really enjoyed it, so I hope you love the final lesson. There are some really gorgeous plants on the slides today; some that would be fantastic to recreate - though you could choose a plant of your own choosing or simply design using nature. You will be creating your own piece of plant artwork using whichever medium you would prefer - pencils, paints, plasticine etc. You may however, wish to create your artwork using nature itself - either as a tool, or as the actual artwork (see the pictures below)! This could be as big or small as you like in 2D or 3D.

NOTE: When using nature, you should only use dead or dying leaves, twigs and petals - DO NOT pick living plants!

Andy Goldsworthy is a British artist who creates artworks using natural landscape and materials. Check out some of his work by clicking the link below. Enjoy!
